2016 Christmas Rock music recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A new 2016 Christmas rock n roll tune has been written, composed and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key intention of bringing awareness and exposure for the Phuket charities and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day website .

The songs title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs genre is a unique up-tempo rock/rock-pop track. Mark wrote and partially recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo song since then awaiting the possibility to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark began the recording process and used local session players to studio record the tune durring a six week period. The track contains 8 separate tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was made in the United States as a result of Mark wanted the most effective result and quality. The music is currently ready to be heard and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ Website.
The main goal of studio recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day site as we can and then ideally in-turn they will be kind enough to help to at least one or all the Phuket island charities, and to also download the song.
The other absolute goal is to get enough downloads of the tune to help fund and create a Phuket live music club with open stage and recording studio / teaching room on Phuket, that will present free instructions and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the local schools and children’s orphanages. Currently ‘La QingTing’ isn’t open right now but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day site to promote his tune Tsunami Day which was influenced from his own personal experiences while he was working in Patong back in 2004 once the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Much like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there’s numerous methods to help including a Phuket Hotel and cheap flight booking to Thailand booking system. Every penny helps.
