2016 Xmas Rock-POP song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A fresh 2016 Xmas rock tune has been written, composed and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key aim of bringing awareness and exposure for the Phuket charities and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket website .

The songs title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks genre is a special up-tempo rock/rock-pop track. Mark wrote and semi recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo song since then looking forward to the opportunity to record once again. In August 2016 Mark started the studio recording process and used local session musicians to studio record the music durring a six week period. The songs contains 8 separate tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was made in the USA as a result of Mark wanted the very best result and quality. The music is currently ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site.
The key aim of studio recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many visits to the Tsunami Day website that we can and then hopefully in-turn they’ll be good enough to donate to one or every one of the Phuket island charities, and to also buy the song.
Another main goal is to get enough downloads of the song to help fund and set up a Phuket live music cafe with open stage and studio / teaching room on Phuket, which will provide free classes and tuition to local underprivileged children from the area’s colleges and orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ is not open right now but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day internet site to market his tune Tsunami Day which was influenced from his own personal experiences while he was working in Patong in 2004 when the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there is numerous methods to greatly help including a Thailand Accommodation and budget flights to Thailand booking system. Every dime helps.
