The Properties And Important things about Argan Oil

There are many different lotions and potions open to take care of hair and skin currently that it’s challenging to choose the best one. For a visit into your local drugstore, you will end up greeted by row after row of shelves filled with various products, all promising to work wonders that will create miracles. I believe really the only way to find out which merchandise is best for you is always to experiment and attempt for yourself. One among my favourites that I am using for a time now could be argan oil.

Sometimes known as ‘liquid gold’, it’s a natural product, extracted from the kernels from the argan tree that’s indigenous to Morocco. It is used as a moisturiser plus products to care for your hair. The reason is , the truth that the oil features a high nutrient content which is full of essential fatty acids, anti-oxidants and vitamin e d-alpha that is vital for healthy skin and hair. Additionally it is renowned to make hair soft, silky and shiny also to make wild hair more manageable. Other reported advantages of argan oil for hair add the promotion of healthy hair growth, protection against scalp dryness and itching as well as the restoration of dry and damaged hair. As a non-greasy, easily absorbed oil it’s used as an epidermis moisturiser that may benefit dry skin especially. It is usually recognized for it’s anti-ageing properties and lots of advocates of argan oil have stated the way it aids their skin conditions like acne and eczema. I have used best oils for dry skin to assist in treating dermititis on my small joints also it worked very well to me and left my skin beautifully soft and smooth without any irritation.

As a result of it’s benefits, celebrities including Julia roberts, Charlize Theron, Kylie Minogue, Madonna and Taylor Swift are all users of argan oil to help you care for their head of hair and skin. It’s even starting to show up in mascara formulas as it’s claimed it helps to produce your lashes longer plus much more lustrous. My hair is very dry and possesses a wiry texture (it almost is like fine fishing line) as well as the oil in it’s pure form really helps to add moisture and softness to my hair. Even if you’re lucky enough to get have naturally soft hair, argan oil is a nice crowning glory to incorporate extra gloss and shine.

Although finding shampoos, conditioners, hairstyling products and skincare products containing argan oil is easy, due to the oil’s rarity they are available at a relatively high price. Because i mentioned earlier on, the oil is taken from the argan tree that is within southern Morocco. The original way of extracting the oil was to collect argan fruit, dry it, extract the nuts, crack these phones reveal the kernels after which to crush these phones release their oil. The process was done yourself and took fifteen hours of labour and 32 kilograms of fruit to generate one litre of oil! Today the kernels are mechanically cold pressed (heat damages the oil’s chemical properties). The tree is rare, extracting the oil is labour intensive… which means the high price. However, fortunately a bit oil goes further.

The scarcity in the argan tree is where the issue lies. There are many products available on the market now that contain argan oil or are marketed as ‘argan oil’ or ‘Moroccan oil’. But if you examine the label, there are often other ingredients (including silicon) in larger quantities as opposed to actual argan oil. Cosmetic companies must work tirelessly to ensure that the provision of argan oil is sustainable and also a superior quality, untainted by other oils or substances.

How do we know you will get genuine? If you’re buying a product containing argan oil – look into the ingredients. Look out for ‘argania spinosa kernel oil’, it should be high up the constituents list and ideally, the item should contain as few ingredients as you possibly can. The harder things that the oil is blended with, the less efficient the oil will likely be. If you are buying pure argan oil, ensure it is within a dark coloured bottle because the light passing through a clear bottle can breakdown the oil’s chemical properties. Some products which are marketed as argan oil also have a carrier oil for example olive or sunflower oil. Also be conscious of the cost you are paying. Argan oil doesn’t need to be very expensive but at the same time, it is a rare oil that’s labour intensive to produce and so isn’t usually sold with a ‘giveaway’ price. The most effective argan oil product simply the costliest but don’t forget the word, ‘you get that which you pay for’.
