The North Georgia mountains are full of beautiful landscape, trees, streams, rivers, and wildlife. Most of the spot is forest and home to a lot of animals including bears, coyote, snakes, and spiders. If you are keeping a cabin in the woods you might be a guest in their homeland. We’d like all of our guests safe by being aware of the wildlife around them.
Picnics are excellent but you should always be not submitting an unintentional invitations with a bear. Coyotes consider small animals a great snack so Please don’t leave your animals unattended. Keep small animals on the leash or in eyesight constantly. A hawk can swoop down and pick-up a small dog in a matter of seconds. Streams can attract snakes also so remember if you are entering a stream especially if the area has tall grass or brush.
Mountain life means living in the lake and sharing them with the surrounding wildlife including predatory or dangerous animal like bears, snakes, spiders, coyotes, scorpions and hawks. Don’t be surprised to determine bugs around or in your cabin because it is extremely hard to maintain these creatures out.
