The North Georgia mountains are rich in beautiful landscape, trees, streams, rivers, and wildlife. Much of the area is forest and home to numerous animals including bears, coyote, snakes, and spiders. When you’re staying in a cabin from the woods you are a guest in their homeland. We wish our guests to be safe when you are conscious of the wildlife around them.
Picnics are wonderful but you should always be not delivering an unintentional invitations to a bear. Coyotes consider small animals a great snack so Please don’t leave your animals unattended. Keep small animals over a leash or perhaps eyesight constantly. A hawk can swoop down and pick-up a little dog within seconds. Dogs love to smell around and will get involved trouble sniffing around rocks of thick brush. Snakes like these areas so it is always best to help keep your animals with a leash. Streams can attract snakes also so bear in mind when you are entering a stream specifically if the area has tall grass or brush.
