Electronic music history pre-dates the rock and roll era by decades. Most of us are not even on earth in the event it began its often obscure, under-appreciated and misunderstood development. Today, this ‘other worldly’ body of sound which began near century ago, may no longer appear strange and various as new generations have accepted high of becoming mainstream, but it’s were built with a bumpy road and, in locating mass audience acceptance, a pokey one.
Many musicians – present day supporters of electronic music – developed a love for analogue synthesizers within the late 1970’s and early 1980’s with signature songs like Gary Numan’s breakthrough, ‘Are Friends Electric?’. It was with this era that these devices became smaller, readily available, more user friendly plus more affordable for most folks.
Abris Music is known internationally as creative brand in electronic music. After over a decade within the music business, were known for our adoration for original electronic music, along with a close connection with our community of fans. In the last ten years, we’ve signed and in many cases discovered some unique artists we move techno music to stars – and this is just the start. Abris Music began in 2000 when emerging musician/producer Dimura Kuroshava started the label. Quickly creating a following of professional and aspiring artists, the label became synonymous with Hardcore, Techno and Electronic music. Rising in conjunction with all the career of label figurehead Kuroshava, Abris Music rapidly grew into a global known brand through some defining club records. Abris Music has additionally diversified beyond a conventional electronic record label model. We now have successfully expanded into streaming services, with Abris residencies and online radio worldwide. Now, Abris Music is looking on the future by embracing its heritage. Having a strong musical vision, tight artist roster, along with a new idea, we start by getting go new galactics – and we wish to share it along.
