How weddings have changed within the decades! From your handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight wedding ceremony members; a fairly easy wedding car to expensive and big wedding cars; three course meals to 6 course meals; 1-3 live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.
Talking about rogues, wedding speeches remain an important part of a wedding and guests do look forward to hearing them, talking about them before, during and indeed after they’ve been delivered.
We have all heard of wedding speeches delivered prior to meal, during the meal and after your food, yet it is of your strong opinion that this wedding speeches must be delivered following your meal. I know that for most wedding party speakers i.e. Father in the Bride Speech, Father of the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (the 5 main speakers), they will would rather possess the wedding speeches ahead of the meal, so they can enjoy their meal (a lot of them are paying for it!). However, is going on the invited guests and the way many of them (as well as the wedding ceremony venue staff) would choose the marriage speeches to become delivered following the meal for several reasons, many of which include:
The invited guests happen to be fed and watered and aren’t playing wedding speeches before eating any breakfast (at least of food, which would be the case before the meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival in the wedding venue)
Food may be cooked and served with the agreed time (introduce the wedding ceremony speeches ahead of the meal and their is actually a delay of Quarter-hour to at least one.5 hours, driving your home staff crazy continuing to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The wedding speeches act as the transition in the meal for the dancing (broke and alone happening as soon as the meal, people are expecting ‘a few words’ to get shared concerning the Bride & Groom and they are fully aware they are able to wake up, move, come out, take a stroll, visit the bar…)
It’s a challenge for parents of the Bride & Groom to talk in public, as the majority of them may not be used of computer. So, they can, if they so wished, speak before the / their meal.
There should nevertheless be some sort of formal speech(es) as soon as the meal…
