2016 Christmas Rock-POP song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A brand new 2016 Christmas rock n roll song has been written, created and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main goal of providing awareness and exposure for the Phuket charity and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day site .

The tunes name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks sound is a distinctive up-tempo rock n roll track. Mark wrote and partially studio recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo song since then waiting for the chance to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark started the studio recording process and used local session players to studio record the track over a six week period. The songs contains 8 separate tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the female lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was made in the United States as a result of Mark needed the very best outcome and quality. The music is now ready to be listened to and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The key aim of recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day site as possible and then ideally in-turn they will be good enough to help to at least one or all of the Phuket charities, and to also buy the track.
The other absolute goal is to have enough downloads of the track to fund and set up a Phuket live music pub with open stage and studio / teaching room on Phuket, that’ll provide free instructions and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the local colleges and children’s orphanages. Currently ‘La QingTing’ isn’t currently open right now but the internet site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day site to market his music Tsunami Day that was influenced from his own particular experiences while he was living in Patong back in 2004 once the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. Much like ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there’s numerous ways to simply help including a Phuket island Accommodation and cheap flights to Thailand booking system. Every penny helps.
Credits: Mark would like to credit his sponsors: Michael Dietvorst (CEO of Oriental Living), Stuart Baker (GM of Food Hygiene Asia), Alan Cooke ( MBE ), Adam Goodman (GM of Two Chefs Restaurants) and Cassius Rolfe-Johnson (CEO of Phuket Home Services).
