Alpine Sky Golden Retrievers is really a small family-oriented breeder positioned in Raleigh, NC. Our passion for English Cream Golden Retrievers began by having an earnest look for a great family dog. We needed your dog which was kid-friendly and trainable, which has a calm, gentle temperament and we all began trying to find breeds that have characteristics works with our lifestyle.
Because we love to hiking, lake and beach time, we would have liked your dog that loved water and employ. It was also key that this dog ‘t be a barker since we do business from home. After much research, we chose the English Cream Golden Retrievers, which was the ideal fit for all of us.
We wanted months to get a quality male from the responsible small family breeder, and finally found him. In 2008, we fell completely deeply in love with our first boy, Kozmo, along with his gentle, sweet nature and happy go lucky attitude. He loves everyone, especially children, and we were immediately excited about the breed. We added Holly to the family and, in 2014, our extended dog family began to form with our first litter planning to carefully selected friends and family.
After witnessing the enrichment of numerous lives, we were required to continue sharing our special dogs with additional families as well as the broader community.
Leveraging their gentle and sweet temperaments, we began certifying a lot of our own dogs as Therapy Dogs. It has been a rewarding experience for the family, the dogs, and also the individuals getting the comfort and joy our dogs share with everyone.
We continue our concentrate on dogs best-suited being loving family and hopefully future therapy dogs.
